lane, class of 2017: goshen new paris senior photographer

He’s got a lot going on. Lane is one of those people who has a ton of interests and does them each really well. He’s a musician, playing acoustic and electric guitar and saxophone. He is a fierce competitor on the tennis courts. And to top it off, he’s a really great person. I don’t think I’ve ever been serenaded during a photo session, but this was one for the books. As he riffed on the saxophone (playing “Careless Whisper”, are you kidding me??) I even caught his reflection in a puddle. It was an awesome evening.

Congratulations, Lane. When you’re famous someday, maybe I can take your portrait for your album cover. 🙂

grace, class of 2017: goshen senior class photographer

It’s fitting that her name is Grace.

This senior has such poise, beauty, and inner confidence… she just radiates a deep sense of who she is, which is a wonderful thing in a young woman. Grace is a deep thinker, a strong believer, and a loyal friend.

We started off at a local coffee shop, because… well… coffee. Is there any more explanation needed? When we got to Wellfield Botanic Gardens, I think my jaw dropped when she got out her flower wreath. Are you kidding me? Perfection! Thanks, Grace, for making this photo session so much fun and being your incredible, beautiful self.

mark family: goshen elkhart family photographer

I have a soft spot in my heart for a mama in a household of all boys. This family photo session by the water was so much fun. With these guys, there was a ton of energy, fun, crazy faces, and laughs. I felt like I was right at home.

And I loved every minute of it.

And the mom? She wouldn’t trade this for the world. She just rides the wave of testosterone with joy and grace.

You just gotta love it. Enjoy these portraits of this awesome family.

one more makes five: goshen infant lifestyle photographer

I got to meet sweet little Luke when he was just a few weeks new. He was alert the entire time, completely laid back, and so content. I loved watching how his older brothers adored him. In case you need evidence, look closely and you’ll see him sporting a teeny-tiny friendship bracelet made by his older brother. In a family of three boys, quiet and calm moments are rare. But I caught a few.

Welcome to the world, Luke. You’re already loved to the moon and back.

“The only thing that is constant is change.” ~Heraclitus

One in high school. One going into college. One getting married. Needless to say, this family is going through a lot of changes. So I was happy when they wanted to capture some memories of this stage in their family life before it changes- yet again!

There was such an easy rapport among them. Even though the kids were all grown up, they were still affectionate with each other, and I could tell they genuinely liked being together. I loved how the younger brother could still make his sisters laugh with his antics {yes, that is a sweet dab move he’s got going on in the one image}. And it wasn’t just the kids… the parents had such a deep and loving connection that only comes from weathering life’s ups and downs together.

Enjoy these images of a beautiful family in a wonderful stage of life.
